Synopsis
What do you do when the life you planned no longer exists?
Lorenzo is forty-two, living in a quiet apartment, carrying a grief that refuses to leave.
It’s been almost a year since Orlando—his partner of over a decade—walked away. Since then, his days have drifted between empty routines, half-hearted attempts at change, and long silences.
But one ordinary morning, signing up for tennis lessons triggers the unexpected.
Roberto—his instructor, married, enigmatic, and cracked in all the right places—becomes that uncertain place where desire and tenderness collide without permission.
What begins as Thursday morning encounters slowly transforms into a quiet search for self-love, acceptance, and freedom.
Thursdays at Dawn is an intimate, emotional novel about late beginnings, the sensuality that resurfaces after heartbreak, and the quiet beauty of coming home to yourself.
Perfect for readers of LGBTQ+ romance, transformative grief stories, and character-driven narratives full of human nuance.

Soundtrack
Music has always been with me — in my travels, in my reading, in moments of solitude, and of course while I write. During the process of creating Thursdays at Dawn (Los Jueves al Alba), many songs found their way to me: some inspired scenes, others stirred memories, and several painted entire moments in my mind.
Some of them aligned perfectly with key chapters, while others became the emotional background of the story without me even noticing, until they turned into this soundtrack — one made of quiet moments, of Lorenzo’s discoveries… and of my own.
In this playlist, the first thirty-one tracks accompany each chapter with their own echo. The songs that follow slipped in because certain scenes deserved more than one melody, or because they are mentioned directly within the novel.
Most of these songs are in Spanish — as this story and its characters were born from a heart that thinks and feels mostly in that language.

★★★★★ A Very Good Novel
A beautifully written story about healing and the reawakening of one’s own passion. I found it light to read, and even though the main characters are gay, it’s easy to relate to them.
