Life can be more than you imagine.
Over time, I realized that this idea was present in everything I wrote.
My novels explore love between men, travel, belonging, and new beginnings. I'm drawn to characters who believe a part of their lives has already been decided, only to discover—through a chance encounter, a journey, or an unexpected decision—that there are still paths they had never considered.
Much of what I write grows out of the things I observe and borrow from my own life: moments of reflection, memories that have never quite left me, conversations overheard by chance, people I meet while traveling, everyday scenes, books, films, songs, and places that eventually reveal something about who we are.
For me, traveling has never been just about changing geography; it is a way of understanding people more deeply and, through them, understanding myself as well.
I am the author of Los Jueves al Alba, Thursdays at Dawn, and Curry, Mezcal y Escocia. Together, they are part of the same conversation: exploring how love, travel, and second chances can open possibilities that once seemed invisible.
I believe there are always paths that lead to something more. Sometimes we find them early in life; other times, only after many years. Sometimes they arrive disguised as loss, farewell, or what first seemed like bad news, only to become an unexpected blessing. As long as there is a chance to begin again, there will always be another story to tell.
